Galler Yarns Flore II is an exceptionally soft, glossy Kid Mohair yarn that comes in an array of luminous colors. It is made from baby, or kid, goats and cultivated at 6 months and 12 months when the coat is at its softest.
Flore II Kid Mohair comes from South African Angora Goats globally known as the finest fiber available. The fleece has been refined through careful breeding programs. These goats are not harmed at all in the harvesting process, which occurs twice yearly. Kid Mohair is versatile; cool in summer and warm in winter. Mohair breathes, absorbing and releasing atmospheric moisture and controlling its own 'climate' to ensure optimal comfort. Products made from this yarn have an innate elasticity, which ensures they hold their shape.
